Dr. Stubbs holds a Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honours from the University of Toronto in 1984 & he completed his orthodontist specialist training at the University of Toronto’s Graduate Orthodontic program in 1989.

Dr. Stubbs is Past-President of the Toronto Orthodontic Club, Canada’s longest-running study club for orthodontic specialists, and dedicated to orthodontic excellence through continuing education by world-renowned lecturers. In addition to maintaining rigorous updating with continuing education courses, Dr. Stubbs is the founding member of York region’s longest-running professional study club to promote continuing dental education.

Dr. Stubbs has been involved with the Optimists Club since 1990, and he co-found the Aurora Chess Tournament. Dr. Stubbs was honoured by the Provincial Parliament with the Ontario 20-Year Volunteer Award recognizing his commitment to improving the quality of life for citizens through involvement with the Optimist Club of Aurora.

Dr. Stubbs and his wife, Dr. Janice McMinn, are busy parents balancing family and professional endeavours. Dr. Stubbs has recently opened his hobby-turned-passion, Georgian Bay Park, an RV resort overlooking Georgian Bay. The state-of-the-art clubhouse houses our newest orthodontic clinic.
